PILATES PROPS
This class is exceptionally beneficial for those with chronic postural issues, as the props assist the body in finding positions and some of those secret, hidden muscles. Using a variety of props, we can discover new ways of exploring the core and endless new challenges. This All-Level Class will enhance the Pilates Mat Class by adding props such as Spine Corrector, Foam Roller, Bands, Balls, Circles, etc. It is best to have some experience with Pilates exercises prior to attending this class. Modifications will be given for varying levels. This class is not intended for those with injuries or chronic conditions which may require personal attention.

PILATES GROUP MAT - BEGINNER AND INTERMEDIATE
This open level Pilates class is a
challenge for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
The classes are firmly rooted in the classical Pilates matwork
with modifications and variations to suit the attendees. mat class encourages students to work deeply
and will improve posture, core strength, balance, flexibility,
and form. A necessity at every fitness level. If you
suffer from injuries or require special attention, we ask that you

PILATES WUNDA CHAIR
This open level Pilates class uses the Wunda Chair as it's one versatile exercise machine. Exercises are performed seated on top and pressing down on the step/pedal with your feet, lying on the floor, standing straight up, lunging forward or doing push-up like moves with the arms. Adjustable spring resistance is the key to challenge with this specialized piece of fitness equipment. Different spring attachment positions make for a wide range of resistance. While pressing down onthe step with arms or legs, much of the stabilizing work is up to the torso - it's harder than it looks. This apparatus activates the lower back, buttocks, shoulder, abdominals and pelvic region and heightens neuromuscular coordination. From a rehabilitation perspective, the Wunda Chair is particularly effective for stretching and rebalancing muscles that have been strained or injured. If you

REFORMER PLUS
Tour the studio! This class will focus on the variety of appartatus the studio has to offer. The instructor will lead you through exercises on the Reformer, Wunda Chair, Tower, or the small apparatus. This class is open to all levels, but a few private sessions are highly recommended prior to attending this class. SIGN UP NOW!
PILATES GROUP REFORMER
This open level Pilates class uses the most renowned of all Pilates equipment, the Reformer. With its sophisticated system of springs, straps and pulleys, more than 100 exercises can be performed on this surprisingly versatile apparatus. The Pilates Reformer helps one establish torso stability and postural alignment while working peripheral limbs in a range of motion. The adjustable springs allow for progressive resistance, which helps to lengthen and strengthen the muscles rather than building bulk. It makes for an effective, no-impact stretching and toning workout that is friendly to the joints. Don't be surprised if some beginner Reformer exercises seem simple - a relaxing, almost effortless glide back and forth on the carriage with none of that overexertion sensation you get from pumping iron. The effects go deep, and you'll engage muscles you never knew you had. As you progress, the fitness challenge becomes significantly greater. SIGN UP NOW!
TIBETAN YANTRA YOGA
Tsa lung Trul khor, or Yantra Yoga comes from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and is similar to both Hatha Yoga and Chi Gung. Ancient movements and postures, breathing exercises, mudras, and meditation techniques combine to circulate and rejuvenate the body's energy. Yantra Yoga was originally taught in the 8th century AD by the Tibetan teacher Vairocana, a student of Guru Padmasambhava. It is based on the notion of trul-khor, or body mandala. Ancient movements and postures, breathing exercises, and mudras circulate and rejuvenate the body's energy. Tibetan meditation techniques, prostrations and mantras are taught for karma purification, elimination of negativity, and generating peace. The practice of Yantra Yoga includes use of body, speech and mind: the positions and movements work the body, the breathing practices and chanting use the voice, and the visualizations and meditations engage the mind. ZUMBA
“Ditch the Workout, Join the Party!” Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and easy combinations that allow the Zumba participants to have fun while working out. A fusion of latin and international music. Designed as an interval class with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It's not on our schedule at the moment, but will be back soon!
